"A period is a stop sign. A semi-colon is a rolling stop sign; a comma is merely an amber light." - Andrew Offutt
I am an editor. Editing in all its forms is what I do and a critical - and hopefully- last phase of polishing a work for publication is a final proofing to find and correct any misspellings, typos, grammar or punctuation errors. The sign of a professional work is final, clean readability.
We are all aware by now that quality control has come to the world of independent publishing (about time too). Be sure your book is clean and professional and will not run the risk of a shameful flag and poor reviews.
HOW THIS WORKS
Proofreading is done on the final Word document, never a formatted file. Pages must be laid out to industry standard: 12 pt san sarif type, double-spaced with 1.5” margins. Corrections are made in Track/Change.
Email your manuscript to firstname.lastname@example.org. You will receive a Paypal invoice for half the entire cost. On payment the edit begins. When the edit is complete you will receive a final Paypal invoice for the balance. On payment the entire edited mss is immediately emailed to you.
Turn around time ranges between 3 and 5 days.

"The rule is: don't use commas like a stupid person. I mean it." - Lynn Truss
